Home learning tip: playing games that use sounds can help develop your child’s the skills required for reading?
At Stepping Stones we have home learning sacks and home learning cards you can borrow to use at home. If your interested in finding out more just ask a member of the team.
The children have been going out and about this term on Tuesdays and Thursdays going into the woods and around Milford. Please see the woodland adventures and outdoor learning section of the website for more details.
Our nativity is on Wednesday 19th December at 9:30am. All children are invited to take part in this event. We will be soon letting you know what part your child will play on the day so please let us know if you are aware that your child is unable to participate.
We normally allow parents and carers to take photographs and videos at the nativity for personal use only. If you have any reason why you would prefer that we do not allow any photography please contact Karen or Debbie as soon as possible.
A reminder that applications to receive 30 hours funding for the autumn term need to be made before 31st August via the childcare choices website.
Nursery will now be open from 12 midday today for any child who is booked into this afternoons session.
Today the nursery is currently closed due to a suspected gas leak. We will update you via email, Facebook page and on here when we are safe to open again. Apologies for any inconvenience caused!
Nursery will be closed Friday 2nd March due to the snowy conditions. We fully expect to be open on Monday 5th . Please have fun in the snow with your families and email in your photos to the nursery.

As many of you are aware Steph will be leaving the nursery at Christmas to spend more time with her family.
Steph has worked at Stepping Stones for ten years and is a fun and friendly team member. We will all her miss her enormously.
I am sure you will join us all in saying thank you to Steph for all her hard work and dedication.
We are now in the second part of this term and we have some dates for your diaries.
21st November-Parents evening 5-7pm please look out for appointment sheets for this.
19th December- Nativity in the church, all family members welcome and last day of term.
Our popular woodland adventure groups have resumed this week and the groups will be out in the woods on Tuesdays and Fridays.
The children have been making printable Christmas cards which will be available to order alongside other items such as wrapping paper and tags, more information on how to order will be with you soon.
